Alexandra Morag Spencer is a Toronto based artist who works in a variety of mediums with a recent focus on sign painting, slip casting, and mural work. In the past she has explored many processes including lettering, typeset, seriograph, illustration, scenic artistry, props creation, photography, stop motion, sculpture, and animation. Her work is supported by her education at OCAD in printmaking and a decade of experience as a Scenic Artist for film & TV. She draws inspiration from a fascination with mysticism, mystery and magic. Her goal is to create quiet but expansive pauses that take the viewer out of the routine of daily life and create a moment, a thought, a vision to ponder - something to get stuck in their head like a song, a memory, a dream.
